I’ve signed up for another 10K race but unfortunately need a few days off due to an annoying cold. We’re also sleep training so I’m totally drained from that. It’s the dreaded weaning and even though I’m so grateful for the closeness we have from that, I’m also physically exhausted from the non stop nursing that goes on every night. I’ll leave the details for another post as we just completed the first week of it, but I think my immune system has taken a hit from the constant waking and trying to comfort him in his bed and to cut down the nursing.
Anyways, I’ve been training for a few weeks now and it’s been feeling really great. The time I get to myself really recharges me and I feel the progress I’m making by running longer. I really hope this cold doesn’t put me back to square one. I’m going to try to run again tomorrow afternoon. Running really has helped me relieve stress and feel healthier.
