Hong Kong Morning


It’s not fog, this is pollution…yuck yuck yuck! Our air purifier is on auto and it’s been on full blast since we woke up this morning…

I'm a mommy of 2, a daughter who just is 7.5 (!) and a son who is 6 (!). Living in Hong Kong and raising a little girl and a little boy married to a wonderful man who is supportive of all of my endeavors.   1. Seattle has a burn ban in effect because the smoke from uncertified wood burning stoves and fireplaces is getting trapped. Apparently banning the burn is helping air quality here.

    Most of us don’t have fireplaces. It’s a combination of old cars, buses, trucks that blow out dirty exhaust; and also the factory exhaust that can sometimes blow down from China. I think HK produces a lot of its own pollution but not much gets done because of the whole money thing…they don’t see that clean air is better for business…everyone wants to make money yesterday!
